The United States has exceeded the threshold of 300,000 cases registered by COVID-19 on Saturday, according to the report presented by Johns Hopkins American University.

The pandemic has caused at least 8,162 deaths nationwide, according to Johns Hopkins University data, updated continuously.


The threshold of 200,000 cases registered was exceeded on Wednesday, a possible speed increase due to the increased availability of screening tests in the United States.

The main focus of the American pandemic is New York State, and especially New York City, which alone recorded 1,905 deaths.
